Simple, Clear Rental Terms
1. Payment and Fuel
The rental price must be paid in advance, and payment can be made by cash, credit card, or via bank transfer in EUR, LEK, or other convertible currencies. Clients are required to have a valid and physical credit card (Visa or MasterCard) for the rental process.
The vehicle is delivered with the same fuel level as when received. No refunds are provided if the vehicle is returned with more fuel than it was received with. Please ensure you refuel before returning to avoid additional charges.
2. Responsibilities of the Renter
The renter agrees to take good care of the vehicle and drive it responsibly. This includes not using the vehicle for illegal activities or transporting goods or passengers for personal gain.
Smoking inside the vehicle is not allowed, and a small penalty applies if smoking is detected.
The renter must ensure that the vehicle is returned in good condition, clean inside and out. A cleaning fee may apply if the car is returned excessively dirty. Any misuse, reckless driving, or violation of traffic laws may result in penalties and termination of the rental agreement.
3. Vehicle Return
The vehicle should be returned on time, at the agreed location. A grace period is allowed for returns, but additional charges will apply if the vehicle is returned later than agreed.
If a different location for vehicle drop-off is chosen without prior approval, a small additional fee will apply. Late returns may also affect future rental eligibility.
4. Insurance and Damages
Insurance options are available (CDW and SCDW). The renter is encouraged to choose the coverage that suits their needs.
The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including damages caused by improper use or driving on unsuitable roads. Insurance does not cover negligence, driving under the influence, or unauthorized drivers.
5. Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period is 24 hours, and the rental is calculated based on 24-hour periods starting from the time the car is picked up. Shorter rentals are not permitted, and extensions must be requested in advance.
6. Age Requirements
Renters must be at least 20 years old and have at least 1 year of driving experience. Drivers under 25 may be subject to an additional fee. Senior drivers may also be asked to provide medical clearance depending on local regulations.
7. Rental Extension
If you need to extend the rental, please inform us in advance to ensure availability. Unauthorized extensions may result in penalties. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and may require updated payment authorization.
8. Cross-Border Rentals
We allow cross-border travel to specific countries, including Kosovo, Montenegro, and North Macedonia, with prior approval and an additional fee. Other countries are not permitted. Crossing borders without authorization may void insurance coverage and result in penalties.
9. Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please do so at least 48 hours before pick-up to receive a partial refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pick-up are non-refundable. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process.
10. Additional Drivers
You can add extra drivers for a small daily fee. Additional drivers must be authorized by us before driving the vehicle. Each driver must meet age and license requirements, and unauthorized drivers will void insurance coverage.
11. Personal Information Protection
Your personal data will be protected according to Albanian privacy laws and will only be used for the rental agreement and related purposes. We do not share your information with third parties except when required by law or for payment processing.
